Why Join the TMGA? Here are at least 6 good reasons to become a Member!
1) We are Fun!
Our league prides itself on being extremely easy-going, social, and very non-competitive. And we have no intention of changing that direction. Often many of our members stay after the round to enjoy a cold pint, light snack, and to enjoy each others company while sharing stories from the day.
We also love to incorporate little contests (ones that don’t require any skill) into each of our rounds, and are constantly drawing random members names to award free golf passes, merchant gift cards, and other unique and fun prizes!

2) We are Inexpensive!
Most golf leagues cost upwards of $100 or more just to join, and often a hefty portion of that fee covers a mid-season or year-end event that you may or may not even be able to participate in if it happens to conflict with your social calendar. Edmonton summers are fleeting, so it's no surprise we all try our best to squeeze in as much as we can before it’s gone, and we totally get that!
Our meagre registration fee is almost entirely used as a prizing budget so you can potentially win it back (or more!) in prizes all season long… just for being a member.
3) We have prime weekend tee-times, all booked well in advance for your convenience
Our scheduling makes it so easy to plan your summer, and you will know well before our season starts exactly what dates that our rounds will happen on. We always play on a Sunday with a noon–1pm start time (with the exception of our September wind-up) making it so easy for you to plan ahead. And your tee-times and pairings are all taken care of for you… you just show up and have a great time!
4) We are Flexible!
Don’t worry about having to commit your entire summer if you join our league. Our schedule is not demanding at all – we play 1 round approximately every 2 weeks starting in late May and continuing through to late August, and conclude our season with a mid-September wind-up fun tournament, banquet & AGM.

5) We play a different course each round!
Since we are the “Touring” Mixed Golf Association, we love to enjoy a variety of locations, so you can experience a different course each round. With so many great golf courses to choose from right in our own back yard, we do our best to take advantage of that. Every round is a whole new thrill!
And we even encourage our members to provide input into what courses they think we should play!
6) Couples, Friends & Singles are all Welcome!
We want to ensure everyone who loves social golf has a chance to come out to play, and be part of the TMGA family. Join alone, with your significant other, a buddy, or invite some other friends or family members, then look forward to making a bunch of new friends!
As long as you are the age of majority (18+), we have a spot waiting just for you. So why not come and grab it!
