Scorecard Contests
In an effort to encourage participation and fun, we will be awarding prizes that have absolutely nothing to do with your skill level... just play the most enjoyable game you know how, submit your scorecard after your round, and we'll take care of the rest!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
One or two of the contests outlined below will be randomly chosen by our Statistics Director for each round we play, but which contests specifically will not be revealed to the players in advance of that round. All submitted player scorecards will be used to determine the players* who are eligible to win a particular Scorecard Contest prize. If multiple qualifiers result for any one contest per round, a single winner will be chosen by a random draw from all who qualified for that contest.
To achieve a wider distribution of prizes, members are not permitted to win any of the scorecard contests more than once. Past winners names will not qualify for any future Scorecard Contests for the remainder of the season. If you qualified but your name was not selected to win a prize, you are still eligible for future opportunities/draws going forward.

Here are our current Scorecard Contests:
Blind Bogey
ONE random hole will be chosen
after the round.
Any player who happens to record a Bogey (1 over par) on their scorecard for that hole is eligible for a prize!
Double Down
TWO random holes will be chosen
after the round.
Any player who records the same score (i.e. - 5 & 5, 4 & 4, etc) on each of those holes is eligible for a prize!
Hot & Cold
The player who records the largest margin of difference between their Front & Back 9 scores is eligible for a prize!
Double Vision
Any player who’s scorecard shows the same score for their Front & Back 9's is eligible for a prize!
Snake Bite
The player(s) who records the highest score on the last (18th) hole earns the Snake Bite and is eligible for a prize!
A Devil of a Time
Any player who records a string of three consecutive 6’s (i.e. – 666) anywhere on their scorecard is eligible for a prize!
How to Submit your Scorecard
In order to qualify for our Scorecard Contest prizing, players* are required to submit their scorecards to our League Statistician (Clint Neufeld) within 24 hours of the completion of each round you play. Here's how you do that:
1) ensure your scorecard is completely and legibly filled out with all player names and respective scoring (scorecards can be for just you and your partner, or for your entire foursome)
2) you are not required to add up your round score, but please ensure all hole-by-hole scores are filled in and easily legible
3) take a clear photo of the scorecard with your phone, ensuring it captures all holes; if you need to take 2 separate photos (i.e. - front 9 and back 9), that's perfectly fine - just ensure you provide a complete snapshot of your entire round scoring
4) email your photo(s) to Scorecards@tmga.ca within 24 hours of completing your round
