(JAMA)
The JULIE ANDERSON MEMORIAL AWARD (JAMA) was created in the memory of Julie Anderson, a loving mother, wife and determined golfer.
Despite dealing with visual impairment, she enjoyed the game of golf, and willingly did her very best each and every round - always with a positive and calm attitude, and the biggest smile you can imagine.
Our league misses her immensely, and to help keep her memory strong, the easy decision was made to dedicate an annual trophy in her name. It is awarded to a Member for their positive attitude and love of the golf game, regardless of how well they play. That Member will have exhibited an abundance of the following characteristics:

Selection Process

TMGA Members and its Board of Directors may nominate a candidate (non-gender specific) from the current seasons membership.

All nomination submissions must be received before the specified cut-off date in order to be considered.

The President and Vice-President will review the submitted nominations, and make a selection from that list. Should they be unable to reach a consensus on who is to receive the award, the remaining Board members will then be asked to participate in a vote in order to determine which one of the finalists shall be the award recipient.

if available, Julie's husband Robert Lee, shall present the award at our annual League Wind-Up banquet. Otherwise, the President (or another appointed member) will make the presentation.
